Imagine disconnecting from your modern lifestyle and connecting to simplicity by way of centuries-old paths through ancient villages and scenic mountain trails. In nature, we rediscover our own true nature.

Get ready to traverse Vikos Gorge, the world’s deepest gorge known as "the Grand Canyon of Greece," with a series of customized day hikes and nights spent at authentic village home stays and rustic lodgings. Our local guide will take us off the beaten path, and across picturesque arched bridges, through the crystal-clear Voidomatis ravine to destinations few tourists experience. This trek offers not just an adventure, but an ecological, cultural, culinary and learning experience. Santosha’s conscious travel invests in the local community, while minimizing tourists’ negative impact on the environment and people.

Amanda Trevelino | Host

As student of the Kripalu yoga lineage, I’ve learned that the way we show up on a yoga mat, is the way we show up in the world. Living our yoga, means practicing the yogic philosophy of non-harming whether we are exploring asana in a studio, or exploring the beauty of another culture.

I embrace various forms of yoga as personal inquiry, and I strive to create judgment-free environments for Self-awakening. In 2016, I founded Santosha Studio to offer the community a collaborative sanctuary for meaningful practice with an emphasis on uplifting the sacred feminine. Conscious travel expands that vision, broadening explorations of Self — physically, mentally and spiritually — as well as building life-long connections. As Anaïs Nin teaches, “we don’t see the world as it is, we see it as we are.”

  • A Great Introduction

“The Highlights – Staying at Rokka guesthouse in Elaftopos. The route planning and content is excellent, much thought has clearly gone into it. Overall, a great introduction to the area.”

  • A Greek Immersion

Every day was different. I loved that the hike felt more like a Greece immersion with not a lot of tourists & lots of exposure to the local culture. Lena's location was a gem... The gorge was amazing, too. Actually, everything, everyday was wonderful!

Be An Explorer

In the coming months, we will introduce more conscious travel destinations. These are opportunities for self-discovery, applying the philosophy and ethics of yoga within a cultural exchange.
